Liza Koshy is an American internet personality, actress and digital influencer. She rose to prominence on platforms YouTube, Vine and Musical.ly. Her screen credits include the series Freakish, Double Dare, Escape the Night and the film Boo! A Madea Halloween (2016). Koshy was born Elizabeth Koshy on March 31, 1996, in Houston, Texas. Her parents Jose Koshy and Jean Carol are very supportive of what she does. She has two older siblings. Koshy graduated Lamar High School in 2014. She studied business marketing briefly at the University of Houston.

Koshy started out sharing comedic videos during her high school years. She racked up more than 5 million followers on Vine prior to the service shutting down. Koshy premiered her comedy web series ‘Liza on Demand’ in June 2018. She also serves as an executive producer. The show picked up 2 wins at the 2018 Streamy Awards. Koshy currently hosts the game show revival ‘Double Dare.’ On the show, teams compete for cash/prizes by completing challenges and answering questions.
